A Fendi Baguette Chain Midi Leather Bag in black
This is my very first designer handbag, gifted by my husband as a wedding present.
I've been using it for two years now.
Although it’s a luxury bag, I’ve carried it everywhere and used it freely, so naturally, it has picked up scratches, the gold-tone hardware has lost some of its shine, and the leather near the seams is starting to wear down...
Because it was such an investment, I wanted to start taking better care of it — even if a little late 🥲
Since this is such an expensive bag, I was really nervous about using just any leather product.
That’s why I decided to try TORRI Leather Care, a product known for being safe even on high-end designer bags.
And most of all, it was so easy to use!
It came with the cutest pouch, plus everything I needed: Leather Care product, an applicator, four suede cloths, and a microfiber towel. I was a little worried about the glass bottle breaking during shipping, but the packaging was super secure and everything arrived safely!
I also checked the ingredients, too
it’s made from 100% mineral-based SiO₂ (silicon dioxide), which means it conditions the leather without changing its appearance. So I felt reassured knowing this was designed for luxury leather.

Mine is black, so the scratches on the leather aren’t super noticeable, but the gold hardware definitely shows some wear. The seams on the sides have started to lose their shine and the leather is peeling a bit 😭
First, I put about 10 drops of TORRI onto the suede cloth and applied it evenly across the leather — front, back, everywhere.
And extra attention to those worn-out seams.
After applying it, my bag looked richer in color and had a beautiful natural shine.
Even the worn seams felt softer, so they don’t peel more every time I open or close the bag!
And let the conditioner soak in for about 30 minutes, then wiped off any excess with the microfiber towel.
Even after wiping, the shine was still there — my bag looked gorgeous!
Of course, the scratches didn’t magically disappear as the leather was already damaged. But now there’s a protective coated layer that prevents further damage, so I’m planning to keep using it regularly.
What I loved most was how the shine came back and how soft the leather felt after.
Since it’s safe for designer bags, I feel even more confident using it on my other leather pieces.
And with how much product is in the bottle, I think I’ll be set for years!
Next time I get a new bag, I’m definitely going to coat it with TORRI right away!
